Aroma Joe’s Founders Relocate and Revitalize Berwick Shop, Now Open

May 22, 2024, Berwick, ME – Aroma Joe’s, one of the nation’s leading handcrafted beverage franchises, announces the relocation and opening of its location in Berwick, Maine at 3 School Street. This 1,625-square-foot drive-thru and coffee house location features handcrafted coffee and espresso drinks, unique flavor infusions, signature AJ’s RUSH® Energy Drinks and all-day food options. This location is part of The Edge at Berwick development which is a thoughtful mixed-use redevelopment of Berwick, Maine’s Village by Great Falls Construction. Located riverside, The Edge is a newly envisioned commercial and residential center for Berwick.

The shop will employ about 18 local residents and builds on Aroma Joe’s legacy in Berwick as all four company founders grew up in the town and attended Noble High School. They also have strong memories of spending time with their grandmother in her hometown of Berwick and she later inspired the launch of the Aroma Joe’s brand. Two of those founders, brothers Brian and Mike Sillon, are the owner-operators of this location.

Brian and Mike Sillon and their cousins Marty and Tim McKenna opened the first Aroma Joe’s in East Rochester, NH in 2000. More than 20 years later, they are still dedicated and passionate about the brand – as evidenced by this relocation and major refresh of the Berwick location, which was the seventh store, originally opened in September of 2007. Their dedication to personal service and quality coffee continues today.
