Set to open on March 13, the Westminster shop builds on the brand’s strategic franchise initiative through its leasing with Walmart. The Westminster location operates as part of Bambu’s store-within-a-store model, bringing authentic dessert drinks to customers shopping at the Westminster Walmart store. Designed as a larger-format location with expanded seating and a more elevated look and feel, the cafe reflects Bambu’s evolving store design. Thoughtful design details, warm and welcoming finishes, and branded touches like Bambu’s Chester the Red Panda mascot enhance the guest experience while reinforcing the brand’s playful personality, all without compromising the quality, presentation, and hospitality that define Bambu.

Offerings include smoothies, boba teas, traditional Vietnamese coffee brewed using the phin drip method and freshly made mochi-style waffles. Clear menu highlights and approachable flavor profiles help guests explore the brand while honoring its Vietnamese heritage.

Geman and his team are leading Bambu’s Walmart expansion and overseeing the brand’s growth in new markets nationwide. Acting as the development group for Bambu within the Walmart model, they identify, award, and support franchise locations as the brand scales. As expansion accelerates, they are engaging experienced multi-unit operators who understand disciplined restaurant growth and see the opportunity to introduce Bambu’s culturally rooted, handcrafted menu to new communities.
