Description
June 26, 2024, COLUMBUS, OHIO – Epcon Franchising has announced the addition of five new Franchise Builders in the first half of 2024. The five new Franchise Builders will develop their first Epcon communities in five different states.
The new Franchise Builders are:
- Evergreen Homes, Canton, Michigan: Evergreen Homes has built primarily move-up homes and communities on the west side of the market between Detroit and Ann Arbor for the last 20 years. The business is owned by husband-and-wife team Jon and Stefanie Goldman.
- BDL Construction Group, South Shore, Massachusetts: The company began as Kamberi Family, LLC in 2007 as a collection of several small businesses. In 2022, they separated their construction operations, including commercial development, multi-family apartments and a small number of single-family residential homes, into BDL Construction Group led by Bes and Diana Kamberi.
- Timbertop Builders, Cookeville, Tennessee: Led by Chris Magda, Timbertop Builders will build in the Cookeville area. Magda has experience in real estate investment, development, construction and finance. Timbertop is his first venture into an integrated land development and home building company.
- BBG Homes, Ocala, Florida: Fernando Braff’s company has built more than 700 homes in Central Florida, serving a wide geographic footprint that includes areas just north of Orlando in Orange County and areas between Orlando and Ocala in Citrus and Sumter Counties. Their offering has been primarily production-style homes for first-time buyers and snowbirds.
- Southern State Homes, Wilmington, North Carolina: Father-son team Richard and Greg Wallace lead Southern State Homes, which has been building custom homes along the North Carolina coast for the last 15 years. The team has nearly five decades of residential building experience.
“We are thrilled to welcome these new Franchise Builders to Epcon,” said Paul Hanson, president of Epcon Franchising. “Our newest Franchise Builders include home builders with decades of experience and real estate investors new to home building. All of our new Franchise Builders will be able to use Epcon’s expertise and resources to jump into the new-to-them market of 55+ home building.”
