Locally-Owned Handyman Connection Opens for Business in Staten Island

November 05, 2024, STATEN ISLAND, NY– Handyman Connection has announced plans to continue the brand’s national expansion by opening its first territory in Staten Island, New York. This new Handyman Connection business is owned by Ray Muratore and will service residents throughout the greater New York metropolitan area.

Growing up as the son of a union electrician with a passion for carpentry and woodworking, Ray was proficient with power tools before he could ride a bicycle. By the age of 12, he was skilled with radial arm and chop saws, and by 18, he and his father had completely repaired or replaced their entire home, from the foundation to the roof shingles. Ray vividly remembers the sense of accomplishment that came with each job, no matter the size.

After a successful 25-year career in the corporate world, Ray has only found that same sense of accomplishment when working on his or a friend’s home. This led him to return to his roots of home improvement. Ray is proud to become a franchisee with Handyman Connection to launch Handyman Connection of Staten Island. He and his team of professional local craftsmen take pride in their work and in serving their community.
