From “The Office” to Ownership: Leslie David Baker Opens New HoneyBaked Location In Sherman Oaks, CA

July 06, 2026 // FranchisePR.com // SHERMAN OAKS, Calif. — Actor, entrepreneur and The Office star Leslie David Baker today announced the grand opening of a new HoneyBaked location in Sherman Oaks, which he co-owns.

As a longtime fan, Baker described the opening as a way to bring the HoneyBaked brand closer to families and businesses in the San Fernando Valley and to offer a broader range of HoneyBaked offerings beyond holidays.

Baker described the opening as a new chapter in his entrepreneurial journey and a place for the community to access cafe meals, catering, and take-home options.

HoneyBaked has operated for more than 65 years; the brand now offers a range of everyday dining and catering options, including handcrafted sandwiches, fresh salads, catering options, take-home meals, and desserts, in addition to the Honey Baked Ham. The Sherman Oaks location also offers catering packages suitable for office lunches, meetings and workplace celebrations.

Best known for his role as Stanley Hudson on NBC’s The Office, Baker described his involvement with the brand and partnership with Tony Vennie.

“People know me as Stanley, but I’ve always had an appreciation for good food and great communities,” Baker said.“What excited me about this opportunity was helping bring a beloved brand to more people while creating a place where neighbors can gather year-round. The opening event was planned with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and opportunities to experience the cafe.
