The new GYMGUYZ location is proudly owned by local husband-and-wife duo, Joel and Erin Castro. Joel’s passion for fitness began in college when he worked as a personal trainer. After earning his certification, he planned to coach youth athletes, but with a growing family, he transitioned to the healthcare industry for more stability. While his career path shifted, his love for fitness and coaching never faded. When the opportunity to franchise with GYMGUYZ arose, Joel knew it was the perfect moment to return to his passion and set an inspiring example for his six children.

For Erin, GYMGUYZ offered the opportunity to work from home, providing the flexibility to manage daily responsibilities while still being fully involved in the business. She and Joel saw franchise ownership as a chance to build something meaningful together, all while helping others improve their health and well-being. Together, they found GYMGUYZ to be the perfect way to pursue their passions, grow a business, and inspire their children to follow their dreams.
