Home Clean Heroes to Send First Responder to Thanksgiving Day Parade
July 31, 2024, VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Home Clean Heroes is once again proud to announce its annual contest to send a first responder family to New York City for an up-close VIP viewing of the Thanksgiving Day Parade with the First Responders Children’s Foundation. Home Clean Heroes is partnering with the First Responders Children’s Foundation (FRCF) to make this unique opportunity possible.
“First responders are central to our mission with Home Clean Heroes,” said Home Clean Heroes President Joe Delatte. “It is an absolute joy to offer this contest each year and read the entries of brave men and women who put their neighbor’s lives before their own on a regular basis. I am excited to meet this year’s winner!”
“For 23 years, this cherished Thanksgiving Day Parade breakfast and viewing has been a time of remembrance and reflection, providing a moment of joy and gratitude at the start of the holiday season for our first responder families. It’s a privilege to put a smile on the faces of these children and parents, who sacrifice so much to keep our communities safe,” said Jillian Crane, President & CEO of the First Responders Children’s Foundation. “Thanks to our partnership with Home Clean Heroes, we look forward to sharing this magical experience with the winning family and creating lasting memories together.”
In 2023, Jessica Coy of the Hillsborough County Fire Department in Florida, won the contest and was able to travel to New York with her husband and daughter.
Applications are now open to select this year’s winner who will receive roundtrip airfare for up to four people, hotel accommodations for two nights, an invitation to the VIP Thanksgiving Day Parade and breakfast hosted by FRCF, and front-row seats to the iconic parade.
First Responders may enter online. The deadline to apply is August 31st and the winner will be chosen at random and notified in early September. Home Clean Heroes donates a portion of the proceeds from every home they clean to first responders, through their Heroes First Initiative. The money goes directly to benefit the children and families of the brave first responders who put their lives on the line every day for their community.
