Houston TX Hot Chicken Increases Temperature with First Location in Phoenix Proper

April 08, 2026 // FranchisePR.com // PHOENIX — Southwest Arizona is about to break a sweat. Houston TX Hot Chicken (HHC) is bringing its signature heat, high-energy vibe and all-natural hot chicken on April 11, marking another restaurant in the area following a debut in Tempe.

Known for serving organic, halal, cage-free, antibiotic-free and hormone-free chicken that’s never frozen, HHC’s menu features fan favorites like hot chicken sandwiches, tenders and loaded sides — including standouts like the Cheesy Hot Chicken Sandwich, Fusion Fries, Texas Caesar Salad and Tenders with Slaw. Guests can choose their spice level, ranging from No Spice to the infamous “Houston, We Have a Problem” — which isn’t for the faint of heart, requiring a waiver and even bigger cups of ice water.

The brand will host a grand opening event from 12-3 p.m. featuring complimentary food and beverages for the first 250 guests, a $1,000 “Houston, We Have A Problem” spice challenge, an exotic car meet and a raffle for a four-hour Lamborghini rental through Supercar Experience in Scottsdale.

“Phoenix felt like the right next step for us,” said Brian Simowitz, president of Houston TX Hot Chicken. “We’ve already seen how well the brand resonates in Arizona, and this location lets us bring that same energy into a high-traffic part of the city while continuing to build on what’s working.”

The restaurant will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 12 a.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 10:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. With the new restaurant opening on Camelback Road, in the heart of one of Phoenix’s busiest corridors, locals will have a new go-to spot for craveable heat and an experience that goes beyond the plate.
