IFA Endorses David Ostrowe for Oklahoma Lieutenant Governor

As a multi-unit, multi brand franchisee, Ostrowe understands the importance of a business friendly climate to support Oklahoma communities

May 13, 2026 // FranchisePR.com // WASHINGTON – The International Franchise Association (IFA) today endorsed David Ostrowe, a multi-unit, multi-brand franchisee and an IFA Board Member, in his candidacy for Oklahoma Lieutenant Governor. Ostrowe is currently serving as Chief Operating Officer for the State of Oklahoma.

“David Ostrowe brings decades of leadership in franchising and public service, as well as a unique understanding of the intersection of business and government, which will serve the state well,” said Michael Layman, IFA Chief Advocacy Officer. “David’s leadership will ensure franchises have a place to thrive, providing Oklahomans with meaningful careers, entrepreneurs the opportunity to pursue their dreams, and a brighter future to Main Street.”

Ostrowe has been in franchising for over two decades as a multi-unit franchisee with several quick-service restaurant brands. In addition to his role on the IFA Board of Directors, he also served as Chair of Franchise Update Media’s Multi-Unit Franchising Conference Advisory Board in 2025. Ostrowe’s time in business follows service in the U.S. Navy as an aviator, in which he served two combat tours.
