Jump Start Sports® Expands with New TexWest Location to Serve Families in Parker County

The new location will bring Jump Start Sports’ unique approach to youth development—combining athletic skill-building with life lessons in teamwork, leadership, and resilience—to children of all ages and skill levels.

Jump Start Sports TexWest is owned and operated by Michael David “Mo” Morales, a community leader with more than 30 years of experience mentoring and coaching young people. Mo has served as a head coach, pastor, professor, and U.S. Army Chaplain. His career has been dedicated to service, leadership, and helping youth reach their full potential.

“Jump Start Sports provided me with the perfect opportunity to combine everything I love – mentoring, coaching, leadership training, and community building – into one mission: to shape the next generation,” said Mo. “This isn’t just a side gig. This is the culmination of my life’s work and the beginning of something that I hope impacts families and communities for generations to come.”

The TexWest region offers a thriving base for youth sports programs, with more than 200 preschools and daycares, over 300 after-school programs, and more than 270 sports venues in Parker County alone. Local families are increasingly seeking safe, structured, and meaningful activities for their children, making Jump Start Sports TexWest a timely addition to the community.

Mo will lead a team of qualified instructors offering programs in baseball and t-ball, basketball, cheerleading, soccer, tennis, and more. TexWest will also be one of the first markets to launch Jump Start Sports’ newest offering: girls’ flag football.
