Little Greek Announces Next Era of Growth with the Opening of New Traditional and Express Locations
August 25, 2026 // FranchisePR.com // Tampa — Little Greek Fresh Grill is advancing its expansion strategy through a combination of new restaurant openings and its flexible Little Greek Express format.
The brand has opened two Little Greek Express locations so far in 2026, including the re-opening of a location at Tropicana Field and one within Westshore Pizza, in Clearwater, Florida. Building on that momentum and their goal of 100 locations by 2031, Little Greek has plans for two additional express stores and a traditional restaurant:
- Little Greek Express in Westshore Pizza located in Seffner, Florida opening in September 2026
- Little Greek Express in Brandon, Florida in late September
- Little Greek Fresh Grill restaurant in Lutz Florida.
Westshore Pizza Partnership Demonstrates Express Format’s Potential
Since introducing Little Greek Express at Westshore Pizza, a Tampa-based chain with 20 units, the location has recorded a 43% increase in sales. With an initial investment described as relatively small, the format has demonstrated a return on investment while integrating a Mediterranean option within the existing business.
“Adding Little Greek Express has given us a new way to serve our customers and generate meaningful sales without the cost or complexity of opening an entirely separate restaurant,” said Paul Samson, CEO of Westshore Pizza. “The numbers speak for themselves, but the reception we’ve received from both existing and new customers further supports the strong demand we’re seeing for a wider variety of food options within one location.”
The partnership provides a model for how existing restaurant operators can use available kitchen capacity, labor and real estate more effectively while expanding their menus and creating additional revenue streams. For Little Greek, the arrangement offers a lower-cost avenue for expanding brand awareness and entering new communities.
“We are creating a growth platform that is not limited to one restaurant format,” said Nick Vojnovic, President of Little Greek. “Traditional Little Greek locations remain an important part of our future, but express options give us another powerful development vehicle. It helps us meet customers where they already are and gives prospective partners a more convenient way to participate in the brand’s growth.”
From stadiums and convenience stores to nontraditional venues, Little Greek’s formats allow entry into new markets and collaboration with operators in order to extend the brand’s presence in communities.
