Mosquito Authority Names Franchisee of the Year & Rookie of the Year
December 22, 2025 // FranchisePR.com // CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Each year, Mosquito Authority recognizes franchise owners who go above and beyond, not only in business performance but in the meaningful impact they make within the communities they serve. During this year’s convention, which took place in Albuquerque in early November, its 2025 Franchisee of the Year and Rookie of the Year Awards were presented. Anthony Duncan, multi-unit owner of Mosquito Authority of Richmond, Virginia and San Juan, Puerto Rico, was named Franchisee of the Year. New to the brand as co-owners of Mosquito Authority of the Eastern Upper Peninsula and Gaylord, Michigan, Steve and Sarah Dent were also named Rookies of the Year. The annual conference – hosted by Main Line Brands, parent company to Mosquito Authority, Pest Authority and Fitness Machine Technicians – welcomed franchisees from across all three brands for four days of breakout sessions, marketing roundtables and motivational keynotes to boost operational momentum heading into 2026.

After more than 13 years with the franchise, Duncan has led his markets to significant revenue gains over the past year, a direct reflection of a mindset that refuses to settle and is obsessed with getting better. Those results are powered by a team that leans in — consistently engaging with headquarters for coaching, pursuing new growth opportunities and adopting innovative tools that drive operational excellence. As a model franchisee for the brand, Duncan was among the first to use virtual assistants for task-driven activities and creating personalized social media content, taking an extra step in using diverse strategies for development.

Selected from franchisees across the United States and Puerto Rico, the Dents were selected as Rookie of the Year in recognition of their ability to secure clients, retain business and achieve impressive early success across their Northern Michigan territories.
