Retro Fitness Signs Agreement with Award-Winning Multi-Brand Franchisee
August 19, 2026 // FranchisePR.com // NEW YORK– Retro Fitness has signed a multi-unit development agreement with award-winning multi-brand franchisee Laddi Singh, who plans to open his first Retro Fitness club this year.
Singh operates a portfolio of Popeyes, Burger King and Arby’s restaurants across New York, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. During his franchise career, he has earned industry honors, including Popeyes Franchisee of the Year in 2020, the Popeyes Gold Plate Award in 2024 and the Arby’s Inspiring Smiles Award in 2020. He has completed more than 30 ground-up development projects, bringing experience in site selection, construction management and real estate execution to this venture in the fitness industry.
“As someone who has spent years building and growing franchise businesses in QSR, I was looking to diversify with my next investment,” said Singh. “Retro Fitness immediately stood out because of its high-value, low-price model, experienced management team and comprehensive support for franchisees. It combines a business I’m excited about with a model I believe in, and I’m looking forward to introducing the brand to more communities across New York.”
The first location will be on Long Island, with additional locations to follow, further strengthening the brand’s presence in the New York market. The brand remains focused on partnering with sophisticated franchisees who bring demonstrated experience in franchising and a commitment to delivering exceptional value and premium membership experiences.
“Laddi’s investment reflects the confidence sophisticated franchisees have in the Retro Fitness brand,” said Andrew Alfano, CEO of Retro Fitness. “Coming from hospitality myself, I understand why an experienced QSR operator would see the opportunity to diversify into high-value, low-price fitness. Laddi has built an exceptional track record across multiple franchise brands, and we’re thrilled to partner with him.”
Retro Fitness offers a high-value, low-price fitness model and a franchise support platform, including help with site selection, construction, marketing, accounting and operations, providing a turnkey solution for new franchisees.
