RNR Tire Express Fulfills Two Teachers’ Dream Back-to-School Wishlists
September 10, 2026 // FranchisePR.com // TAMPA, Fla.— Continuing its mission of supporting teachers across the country, RNR Tire Express (RNR) announced the winners of its 6th Annual Teacher Giveaway.
Jeannie Baumes and Chrissi Brandhuber, both educators at Eastside Academy of Leadership and Innovation in Brooksville, FL, had their complete Amazon classroom wish lists fulfilled, totaling a substantial amount in supplies and resources. This marks the first time two teachers from the same school have won the annual giveaway.
The nationwide campaign ran from early July through August, receiving over 1,500 nominations, from communities eager to recognize outstanding local educators. Beyond fulfilling their classroom wish lists, RNR celebrated Baumes and Brandhuber with public recognition for their dedication and impact on their students.
Meet This Year’s Winners
- Jeannie Baumes – Baumes was nominated for her kindness, compassion and unwavering commitment to making a lasting impact in the lives of each of her students. Her passion for helping students extends beyond the classroom. She regularly provides them with food, clothes, and shoes when needed. Baumes’ wishlist included school supplies ranging from notebooks and erasers to backpacks and glue, so her students can be fully prepared for the school year.
- Chrissi Brandhuber – Brandhuber is a librarian at a Title 1 school, where more than 70% of the student body comes from economically disadvantaged households. She received a grant for a book vending machine but lacked the funding to keep it continuously stocked. Her wish list included books for the vending machine, so each student can find a book they love and treasure for the rest of their lives.
“Educators have an incredible way of shaping lives, not just through what they teach, but through the way they show up for their students every day,” said Adam Sutton, CEO of RNR Tire Express. “We’re so grateful for the teachers who pour into the next generation and live out our mission of ‘changed lives changing lives’ in the classroom and beyond. It’s an honor to celebrate them and say thank you for all they do.”
This initiative comes as families are facing slightly higher back-to-school shopping costs this year, according to the National Retail Federation. Data shows that families are spending an average of more than $860 this year on school supplies, electronics, shoes, and clothes for K-12 students, an increase of roughly $5 from last year.
