Shaun Ramautarsingh Opens Humble, TX’s Newest USA Ninja Challenge
March 06, 2026 // FranchisePR.com // HOUSTON, TX — USA Ninja Challenge has been expanding across the country. The brand’s most recent opening on February 9th demonstrates its continued growth and appeal among families and franchise investors alike.
“We are thrilled to continue to bring USA Ninja Challenge to the Houston Metropolitan area. With the growing demand for youth fitness programs, there’s a tremendous opportunity in this space,” said Richard Knight, Co-Founder of USA Ninja Challenge. “The structured curriculum and proven business model provide an exciting way to engage kids in fitness while building confidence and life skills.”
The Humble location is the brand’s fifth in the Houston market and eighth in Texas. It is owned and operated by Shaun Ramautarsingh, a former oil and gas professional who transitioned into entrepreneurship after more than two decades in the industry. Ramautarsingh, along with his wife, Anisah Ramautarsingh, was drawn to USA Ninja Challenge for its mission-driven approach to youth development and its emphasis on structured physical activity.
The new gym serves families in Humble, Atascocita, and Kingwood, which are areas that previously lacked dedicated ninja training. Unlike traditional gyms that add ninja-style elements as an afterthought, USA Ninja Challenge delivers a fully structured, age-based curriculum designed to help kids progress physically and mentally in a safe, supportive environment.
The Humble location is expected to create multiple local jobs, with Ramautarsingh serving as an owner-operator alongside a full-time manager and part-time coaching staff. A grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Lake Houston Chamber of Commerce is planned for later this spring.
Looking ahead, Ramautarsingh has expressed interest in pursuing additional locations as the surrounding area continues to grow, aligning with USA Ninja Challenge’s broader plans for continued national expansion.
“We’re looking for franchisees who are passionate about making an impact in their communities,” Knight said. “USA Ninja Challenge offers a proven business model, strong operational support, and the opportunity to build something meaningful while meeting a real need for families.”
USA Ninja Challenge continues to differentiate itself in the youth fitness market with its engaging obstacle course programming, designed to develop strength, confidence and coordination in children of all skill levels.
