Synergy Homecare Expands to Serve North San Diego County Communities
April 07, 2026 // FranchisePR.com // Tempe, Ariz. – SYNERGY® HomeCare has announced its newest franchise located in the North San Diego County area, SYNERGY HomeCare in Escondido.
The company is led by Roya Ghanimat and Shershah Bashir, experienced franchise owners inspired to enter the home care industry after years of serving older and vulnerable clients through their existing businesses.
Headquartered in Escondido, the company assists residents of Pala, Valley Center, Escondido, Ramona, Lakeside, El Cajon, and Santee with a wide variety of non-medical in-home care options, from companion care to personal care and respite care.
Ghanimat and Bashir saw a growing need for these services, particularly among Baby Boomers. U.S. Census statistics show that 10,000 Baby Boomers are turning 65 every day and that by 2030, there will be more than 70 million people over 65. According to the AARP, over 80% of this demographic reports wanting to remain in their own homes for as long as possible.
Married for more than 16 years and parents to two children, Ghanimat and Bashir bring over 25 years of retail management and franchise ownership experience to their new venture. Their background includes ownership of 7-Eleven and The UPS Store franchise locations, providing them with a strong foundation in franchise systems, operations, and customer service excellence. Bashir has also held leadership roles with national retail brands, including Rite Aid, Michaels, and RadioShack.
Their passion for home care developed organically. Approximately 70% of their prior business clients were between the ages of 55 and 90. In supporting these individuals with daily challenges and problem-solving needs, they discovered a calling to help older adults maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.
“Our company philosophy is centered on people, integrity and excellence in care,” said Bashir. “We believe exceptional care begins with hiring compassionate, experienced caregivers and equipping them with the training and support they need to provide world-class service.”
Escondido and nearby communities have residents who may require in-home care services, including assistance with daily activities and personal care.
“At SYNERGY HomeCare in Escondido, we treat every client as if they were one of our own,” said Ghanimat. “With us, care is personal, trust is earned, and compassion is at the heart of every little thing we do.”
