Teriyaki Madness Makes Corpus Christi Debut With $6 Bowls and Can't-Miss Opening Day Offers
July 02, 2026 // FranchisePR.com // CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Corpus Christi is about to get a whole lot saucier. Teriyaki Madness (TMAD) is opening its first-ever location in the city, in Moore Plaza Shopping Center on Friday, July 10, bringing its famous Seattle-style teriyaki bowls, premium proteins and cooked-to-order meals to the Coastal Bend.
To celebrate the grand opening, guests can score $6 Chicken Teriyaki Bowls on Friday and Saturday, making it the perfect opportunity to see what all the Madness is about. The celebration will also include a ribbon cutting and giveaways throughout the day, giving early visitors even more reasons to show up hungry.
The Corpus Christi shop is owned and operated by first-time franchise group TMAD397 Inc., who was drawn to the brand’s combination of quality food, operational support and proven business model. While new to the restaurant industry, the group saw an opportunity to bring something different to a growing market hungry for fresh, convenient meals that don’t cut corners and leave you craving more.
“We wanted to build something of our own, but it had to be a concept we genuinely believed in,” said Marisa Bauman of TMAD397 Inc. “What stood out about TMAD was how approachable it is for franchisees and how committed the team is to helping owners succeed. The food speaks for itself. These aren’t tiny portions tossed together as fast as possible. Everything is cooked to preference, and people can taste the difference. We’re eager to put down roots in Corpus Christi and become a place the community can count on for years to come.””
Teriyaki Madness offers customizable bowls with marinated chicken, steak, salmon or tofu, paired with fresh vegetables and its gluten-free sauce. Bowls are made to order with a variety of proteins and vegetables and sauces.
“Corpus Christi is exactly the kind of community where Teriyaki Madness thrives,” said Jodi Boyce, chief marketing officer of Teriyaki Madness. “People want food that works with their schedule without feeling like a compromise. Our bowls are packed with fresh ingredients and served in portions that don’t leave guests wondering where the rest of their meal went. Once guests taste their first bowl, it tends to become part of the rotation pretty quickly.”
Teriyaki Madness Corpus Christi will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
