Teriyaki Madness Reopens Elko Location With New Look, New Ownership and Free Bowl Giveaways
May 15, 2026 // FranchisePR.com // ELKO, Nev. – Elko is getting its comeback story served hot. Teriyaki Madness (TMAD) is officially re-opening its location at 1657 Mountain City Highway, Suite 104, on Friday, May 22, bringing back its signature made-to-order teriyaki bowls with a refreshed space and updated operations.
Now locally owned and operated by franchisee, Juanita Gaeta, a seasoned multi-unit restaurant franchise owner, the shop reopened after refurbishment and upgrades. Improvements include fresh paint, new wall murals and updated equipment designed to keep bowls moving fast and consistently tasty.
Grand opening day kicks off May 22 at 10 a.m., with the celebration extending into the weekend. Guests stopping in on Friday and Saturday will score $6 Chicken Teriyaki Bowls, giving the community a reason to show up hungry and leave full.
The real madness comes with the giveaways. The first five customers to make a purchase on May 22 will win *free Teriyaki Madness for a year. The next 20 customers will receive *free TMAD for a month. No gimmicks, just bowls and bragging rights.
“I’ve always been a fan of TMAD and the way everything is made fresh and to order,” said Juanita Gaeta, franchisee. “My family loves it, and we used to eat here at least once a week before the closure. Getting the chance to bring it back, especially with this level of support, feels like picking up something that should have never left Elko in the first place.”
The reopening marks Gaeta’s first location as a Teriyaki Madness franchisee.
“Every opening gives us a chance to set expectations and remind people what a proper teriyaki bowl actually looks like,” said Jodi Boyce, chief marketing officer of Teriyaki Madness. “Elko is getting a refreshed space, stronger operations and a team that is dedicated and locked in on consistency. When the first bite hits, most people stop asking questions and start figuring out how soon they can come back.”
Teriyaki Madness Elko will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
