Tommy’s Express Car Wash Appoints International Directors of Franchise Development

August 06, 2026 // FranchisePR.com // HOLLAND, MI—Tommy’s Express, the world’s fastest-growing car wash brand, has appointed new franchise development directors for Canadian and European expansion. There are currently more than 275 Tommy’s Express locations, with 160 more in development, across the United States, Canada, Europe, and most recently, Puerto Rico.

Kim Chohan joins Tommy’s Express as Director of Franchise Development for Canada. She brings 10+ years of franchise development experience, having helped drive growth for Boston Pizza, WAXON, and Medicine Shoppe. Tommy’s Express will have two locations open in Canada by the end of 2026, with more planned for development.

Kristijonas Minelga joins Tommy’s Express as Director of Franchise Development for Europe. He brings more than six years of experience in the European express tunnel car wash industry, with a strong background in franchise development, market expansion and multi-site network growth. Minelga will continue to help Tommy’s Express bring the red tunnel to Europe, following the expansion in France.

The Tommy’s Express brand opened 45 new locations in 2025 and has opened 13 this year so far. On pace to open 31 total new locations in 2026, the company expects to surpass 300 systemwide locations by the end of the year.
