NFL Star’s Family and Franchise Powerhouse Unite to Bring Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii Back to Its Roots in Honolulu

HONOLULU, HI – Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii, the premium coffee franchise renowned for its bold Hawaiian blends and vibrant island spirit, has announced a three-unit development agreement in Honolulu. The expansion is led by Galu and Diane Tagovailoa, Hawaiian natives and parents of NFL quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, in partnership with seasoned multi-unit franchisee Ted Davenport. The first location is slated to open this spring.

Davenport’s impressive franchising resume includes ownership and operations of successful locations for Subway, Ruby Tuesday, and TCBY. His partnership with the Tagovailoas—respected members of the Hawaiian community—adds a deeply personal and cultural dimension to the expansion.
