WorldKids Founder Nicole Chaudry Named a 2026 Woman of Wonder
Chaudry appears on Franchise Dictionary Magazine’s annual list of 50 women in franchising for the second consecutive year
SEATTLE, Oct. 22, 2026 // FranchisePressReleases.com // — Franchise Dictionary Magazine has named Nicole Chaudry, founder and chief executive officer of WorldKids® School, to its 50 Women of Wonder (WoW) 2026 list. The October issue, published Oct. 1 by FranServe and Franchise Dictionary Magazine, includes Chaudry on the list and in a full-page profile.

The WoW list is an annual feature honoring women who lead franchise brands. Franchise Dictionary Magazine is a national digital publication with nearly 450,000 readers, written for prospective franchise owners. Through FranServe’s Fran-Aid initiative, the magazine will donate proceeds from the October issue to Susan G. Komen.
In its list entry, the magazine pointed to the organization Chaudry has built around children, families and teachers, and to her work opening jobs and leadership roles to women and mentoring entrepreneurs. Its profile of Chaudry, “Growing Beyond Boundaries,” puts the WorldKids corporate team at roughly 150 women from many countries and cultures.
WorldKids School is a full-day language-immersion preschool and childcare franchise serving children generally from 2 months to 6 years old, with age ranges varying by school. The target language is the classroom language, not a separate lesson: infants are taught in Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese is added from the toddler years. Founded in January 2015, WorldKids began franchising in July 2024. It operates schools across Washington and in San Jose, Calif., is now enrolling in North Raleigh, N.C., and has locations coming soon in Malvern, Pa.; Naperville, Ill.; and Columbus, Ohio.
Chaudry was raised in Germany, where she grew up speaking several languages. After moving to Seattle, she could not find an early childhood program offering the multilingual education she wanted for her son, so she obtained a Washington child care license and opened a program in part of her own home. It had a waitlist within three months. She later earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington while running the schools, and through a partnership with the university, some of its students now complete part of their hours at WorldKids.
“I started WorldKids in my own home because I wanted my son to grow up the way I did in Europe, where speaking two or three languages was normal. What I didn’t expect was how many women would see themselves in that story: teachers bringing their native language into the classroom, mothers who joined us to be closer to their own children’s education, and franchise partners building something for their families. This recognition belongs to them as much as to me,” said Nicole Chaudry, founder and chief executive officer, WorldKids School.
“Highlighting our ’50 Women of Wonder’ (WOW) is an annual tradition, and we are truly proud to honor the contributions of these incredible women,” said Alesia Visconti, chief executive officer, FranServe and Franchise Dictionary Magazine. “We love seeing more women in the franchise space.”
