Nick the Greek Proudly Reaches 100 Restaurants Open Systemwide

The Clairemont restaurant is owned and operated by longtime franchisees Gary and Mirna Tully. In the last year, the duo has opened three locations in San Diego. For more than a decade, Nick the Greek has proved that “The Best Things in Life are Greek” through a diverse and enticing menu of tasty pitas, bowls, salads, desserts and more — now available to Clairemont locals and visitors at the brand’s newest Nick the Greek location.

Established in 2014 by three cousins, Big Nick, Little Nick and Baby Nick Tsigaris — all named after their grandfather per Greek tradition — Nick the Greek is a family-friendly fast casual restaurant offering authentic Greek street food. Specializing in gyros and souvlaki, the menu features flavorful rotisserie meats, charbroiled skewers, zesty sauces and fresh vegetables. The brand operates locations across several states.
“My cousins and I spent summers in Greece growing up, and every time we came home, we missed the fresh, vibrant street food we experienced together,” said Nick “Baby Nick” Tsigaris, Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Nick the Greek. “In 2014, we set out to bring those flavors home, and what began as a personal craving has grown into 100 locations nationwide, making it deeply rewarding to see the culinary staples we grew up with shared and embraced by communities across the country as each new restaurant opens.”
Since 2023, Nick the Greek has grown to include restaurants in eight states, including Arizona, California, Kansas, Missouri, Nevada, Tennessee, Texas and Utah. Locations are in urban markets across the United States.
