School Is Easy Tutoring Welcomes Local Educator to Bring Personalized Academic Support to Langley
August 19, 2026 // FranchisePR.com // LANGLEY, B.C. – School is Easy has announced the opening of its newest franchise in British Columbia, School is Easy – Langley North.
The business is owned and operated by Doruk Gundogdu, an aspiring educator with goals to create a trusted local resource where students can build confidence and reach their full potential.

The locally owned tutoring service will support students and families throughout Fort Langley, Walnut Grove, Willowbrook, Willoughby, Clayton, Cloverdale, and surrounding communities.
School is Easy provides tutoring for school-age children, online and in-person, across maths, English, science, and social studies. It also offers preparation for standardized tests such as SAT, ACT, and FSA. Tutors are selected to support students’ academic needs.
A graduate of Walnut Grove Secondary School, Gundogdu is currently completing his Bachelor of Education at Trinity Western University with the goal of becoming an English and History teacher. His passion for helping young people succeed has been shaped by years of leadership, tutoring, and volunteer experience in the community he calls home.
Before entering the education field, Gundogdu spent several years as a Theatre Manager with Cineplex Entertainment, where he developed his leadership and communication skills while mentoring employees and helping create a positive workplace culture. As his passion for education grew, he transitioned into teaching English Language Arts and began volunteering at a local high school, where he has spent the past three years supporting students through academic challenges.
“Every student deserves to have someone in their corner who believes in what they can accomplish,” said Gundogdu. “I’ve seen how powerful it can be when a student finally understands something they once found difficult. Those moments build confidence, and that confidence can change how students see themselves and what they believe is possible.”
The Langley North location offers in-home or online tutoring and provides tutoring support tailored to each student’s needs.
“Families are busy, and finding the right academic support shouldn’t add more stress to their lives,” said Gundogdu. “We want to work alongside families to help students strengthen their skills and feel confident enough to raise their hand the next time they know the answer.”
Langley has a diversified educational landscape. The Langley School District serves about 27,600 students across 46 school sites, and enrollment is growing. The community includes Trinity Western University and a campus of Kwantlen Polytechnic University, contributing to the region’s educational profile.
Langley North will place an emphasis on supporting English Language Learners. Gundogdu aims to provide a resource for newcomers and multilingual students to strengthen their spoken and written English skills, build academic confidence and develop a greater sense of belonging in their community.
Doruk is seeking to add to his team of tutors. While certified teachers are ideal candidates, college students with strong academic scores, recent graduates, or other retired educators looking for work may contact for opportunities at the Langley North site, or by calling 672-335-7689.
