The Flying Biscuit Café Signs Franchise Agreement in Nashville, Tennessee

September 07, 2026 // FranchisePR.com // NASHVILLE — The Flying Biscuit Café has signed a franchise agreement with Shreya Patel, who will bring the Atlanta-born breakfast and brunch brand to South Nashville. The agreement covers one café in the South Nashville Proper trade area, and site selection is underway. The address and opening date will be announced once a lease is signed.

Patel brings a background in supply chain management along with restaurant ownership and management experience, and will serve as a full-time owner-operator, overseeing the café’s day-to-day operations. She was introduced to Flying Biscuit by business partners who came across the brand while operating restaurants in another market and stayed connected to it after relocating to Nashville. What sold her was the food and the operating model — a full breakfast and lunch business that closes in the afternoon, with no dinner or late-night shift to staff.

South Nashville has seen steady residential growth and significant new investment in recent years, from GEODIS Park and the Nashville Fairgrounds to AJ Capital Partners’ 18-acre Wedgewood Village development and a 4,400-seat Live Nation venue opening this fall. Patel is aiming at a guest base of students, young professionals and area employees, with the Vanderbilt and Belmont campuses just beyond the neighborhood’s northwestern edge. The café will be the brand’s first in Nashville and its third in Tennessee, following Knoxville and Kingsport.

When the café opens, guests can expect the menu Flying Biscuit is known for — all-day breakfast, shrimp and creamy dreamy grits, stuffed French toast, omelets, vegan scrambles, burgers and wraps — served from morning through the lunch hour.
